so we've found a Flash guy. can we just use this post to quickly iron out what needs doing in the mockups? we obviously need the notebooks "coming forward" from the locker. anything else? also, are we looking to get it so that we can click on the notebooks to make them come forward in the mockups, or do we need only a few Flash animation files to put into the Powerpoint?
also, Christina and Dave, did you guys get any feedback on the mockups?
last thing--I think Kate has the mockup files so she will have to send them to the Flash guy.

Locker Talker Flash
First slide – Locker front page
• Should look like a real locker
• Be able to enter user name and password – when done, the lock should spin and transfer user to the inside of the locker
Second slide – Inside of locker
• A Republican candidate has to be added (Mitt Romney)
• The Red Sox group book has to be brightened for better viewing
• The flip and diary “books” have to look more like real books –edges crisper and more realistic like the other books on the shelf
• The locker itself has to look more realistic
• All of the images on the right side of the locker (i.e. Zac Efron) need to be able to be dragged and dropped anywhere on the right side like they were magnetized.
• The newspaper on the right side should look more like a real newspaper.
• When the news stories are clicked, they should pop up in front of the locker and be readable. (They don’t have to be actual news stories for the mockup, just X’s will do fine like in the headlines)
• A video clip based on one of the stories should be viewable in the laptop in the upper left hand corner.
• When the Hillary ’08 (3rd slide), flip (4th slide), or diary books are clicked, they should open up and center themselves on the page.
Third page – Hillary book (open)
• Tabs should switch to different sections of the book
• The activism section should have events, rallies, etc. listed based on the tab header.
• An X should be in the upper right hand corner (like in the 5th slide) and should exit out back to the locker (2nd slide)
Fourth slide – Flipbook
• Should open when Flip book is clicked in locker
• Everything should be movable (drag and drop style)
• If possible, no “pretty kitty” text at all.
• Add X to exit
Fifth slide – Diary
• Arrows should work, shifting between various pages of the diary
• Add X to exit
Sixth slide – Customized page
• Totally revamped – should look like redesigned locker page
• All of the drop-down arrows should work, giving users a plethora of options in each of the fields.
• Wrestling should not be misspelled
• When colors are clicked in the upper left hand corner, they should shift the background color of the page.
Thats what we originally had requested I beleive ... we were looking for them to actually come foward, but I guess we'll get what we can take at this point!
Are you going to have a boy mock-up somewhere in the presentation? The audience at SMC overwhelmingly though LT was a girls site.
I think something with strong boy visuals (sports team, video game logo, camo, etc.) would alter that perception.
the Illustrator files shouldn't be too hard to change. I think that especially since there will be moments when the locker mockup is on the screen for a period of time while you guys talk, we can switch it to the boys mockup. that would probably make it a bit more visually interesting too.
Does Harry need to get involved in a boys mock-up? If so, someone should get to him pronto.
I'm going in to send Harry the illustrator files this morning ... I'll also be in Bergeron working on the script/presentation revisions. I don't have the talent (or the time) for the boys mock up, but if Tyler or Jon want to meet me in there we can work through something?
i'll be in Bergeron until 12 anyway. If you need me for something else I can stop by anytime after 2.
